Alabama A&M University was founded in 1875. Alabama A&M is a land grant university. It gets funds from the state in order to help run the school. The school was originally created from a bill that was passed in the state legislature. This campus is located in what many alumni and friends refer to as The Hill. The school serves around 6,000 students. Alabama A&M has a big commitment to helping its students succeed. This school provides many degrees to its students. There are more than 60 undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs that the school organizes. The school is organized into four different categories.
