Ariel C. Triplett, MPH
Ariel C. Triplett, MPH is the Director of
Emergency Management & Safety for
Howard University. She comes from several
different industries; higher education at High
Point University; entertainment industry at
Six Flags; contracting to the federal
government and private sector; healthcare
with Kaiser Permanente and non-profit with
For Our Future Action Fund. Ariel has
developed and implemented health, safety and
emergency preparedness programs in all her
various roles. She has worked across several
states to maintain cohesive programs and
developed innovative opportunities for each
person to be involved personally and vested in
their own health, safety and preparedness as
well as the organizations mission the best
possible workplace for it’s employees.
Ariel obtained her bachelor’s degree in
biology from Howard University in
Washington D.C. She then went on to Saint
Louis University to obtain her Master in
Public Health with a concentration in
Bioterrorism & Disease Control. She brings
her understanding of disease outbreaks,
biology and pandemic planning to help grow
and foster organizations to become a healthier
and safe organization. She is an active
member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.,
National Public Health Association, National
Association of Emergency Managers, and a
volunteer Government Liaison for the
American Red Cross during times of national
emergencies. She is also a High School Swim
Coach and triathlete. She loves the ocean and
the chance to travel whenever possible outside
of COVID!
