Established in 1907, Medgar Evers College (MEC) is a senior college of The City University of New York, offering baccalaureate and associate degrees. Located in central Brooklyn, MEC is one of New York City’s most dynamic institutions rooted in its local community. Through its five schools, MEC provides a strong liberal arts foundation offering associate and baccalaureate degrees:

The college is divided into four schools: The School of Business, the School of Professional and Community Development, the School of Liberal Arts and Education, and the School of Science, Health, and Technology.

MEC offers a nursing program through its School of Science, Health and Technology. It is the only City University of New York school in Brooklyn that offers an accelerated nursing program.
