Biography
Dr. Donovan Griffin-Blake
Dr. Griffin-Blake is the Science Education Program Coordinator & Biology Adjunct in the Department of Natural Sciences at Bowie State University. She holds degrees from Howard University, George Washington University, and Bowie State University. Dr. Griffin-Blake has been recognized as an award-winning educator for over 20 years and has received many grants, from public and private organizations. She has worked closely with the White House Initiative on HBCU’s, the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Annual Legislative Conference - HBCU Braintrust, and as a consultant for several HBCU’s.
Dr. Griffin-Blake is best known as a ‘Resource Strategist’. She has a vast network and uses it to help make connections for other organizations. She has honed these skills during her tenure with the White House Initiative on HBCUs as the 2016 All-Star for Bowie State University and in 2017, when she co-produced the Inaugural Braintrust at the Congressional Black Caucus with Representative Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. In 2020, Dr. Donovan launched Alchemy Consulting Group, LLC, which is a boutique consulting firm that focuses on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility strategies for businesses and organizations. Dr. Donovan is a member of the Inaugural Cohort for the Black Ambition Prize, a platform for Black entrepreneurs, founded by musician Pharrell Williams.
