Biography
Rachel Gonzalez is a promising master's candidate with a passion for public health. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University at Albany, majoring in Public Health while double minoring in English and Education. Currently pursuing her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Community Health Sciences, Rachel's studies revolve around her specific area of interest: maternal and child health.
Her research has focused on the concerning issue of black maternal mortality rates, aiming to shed light on and address this critical disparity. Rachel's dedication to public health extends beyond her academic pursuits. She currently serves as a Project Associate at the Howard College of Medicine Center of Excellence, where she actively contributes to meaningful projects.
In the past, Rachel worked as a Project Assistant for the HIV Curriculum Integration Project, further highlighting her commitment to enhancing the quality of education and promoting effective integration of healthcare curricula.
