Eric AbdullateefBiography

Eric Abdullateef is a program analyst with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He specializes in infrastructure protection for emergency communications. For USAID, he oversaw performance analysis and reporting for the American Schools and Hospitals Abroad Program, which is a U.S. public diplomacy grant program that fosters constructive and cooperative relationships and a favorable U.S. reputation by strategically supporting civil society organizations abroad. Before that, he led M&E for USAID's Office of Civilian Response, which integrated defense, diplomacy, and development activities to foster peacebuilding, stabilization, and reconstruction outcomes in post-conflict environments.

His passion is helping clients to learn, improve, adapt, and make risk-based decisions. He holds an MBA from the University of California Berkeley and a BA from Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey. He's a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a candidate Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP).

Most recently as an M&E Specialist with USAID’s Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance Bureau he was attached to the Office of Civilian Response. The Civilian Response Corps is a U.S. government asset designed to deploy technical experts who pursue strategic development interventions within the transition from conflict to peace continuum and complement the presence of defense and diplomacy professionals.

Mr. Abdullateef enables organizational learning and risk-based decision-making. He investigates performance issues and assesses the Civilian Response Corps’ contribution to smart power, interagency collaboration, and U.S. national security. He holds an MBA from the University of California Berkeley. He is currently the president of Washington Evaluators, the Metro affiliate of the American Evaluation Association.
