Biography
Dr. Leleka Doonquah is an internist and infectious diseases specialist. She is from Kingston, Jamaica. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree at Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles, California, and her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine.
She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases fellowships both at Howard University hospital.
Dr. Doonquah has spent the past 18 years working extensively in the field of HIV/AIDS in several underserved communities in Washington, DC and Maryland. Currently she is the medical director of the AIDS Healthcare foundation in Maryland.
