Dr. Veronica Jenkins is the current Medical Director for Family and Medical Counseling Service, Inc. It was there that the face of HIV/AIDS took on new meaning and she has since become an active voice for change for those patients she serves and any affected by this disease. Dr. Jenkins was trained at Howard University and continues to be an active member of several grassroots organizations for which she campaigns. She is a board member of NMCRA, the National Minority Clinical Research Association that promotes research development in science and medicine to advance and promote good health in minority populations.
