Dr Jean Davis is an educator, clinician and researcher.

Dr. Davis’ HIV/AIDS related accomplishments have included serving as the
Co-Principal Investigator and HIV/AIDS Training Specialist for the Charles Drew Site with the National Minority AIDS Education & Training Center (NMAETC)
Co-PI, Clinical Director and Training Specialist for Pacific AIDS Education Training Center (PAETC)
Co-Investigator for the Comprehensive Center for Health Disparities for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD, an NIH Program Grant
She is presently faculty for the AETC NMC and an HIV provider for Desert AIDS Project.
As a National Minority-AETC and Pacific-AETC faculty, she has trained 100s of clinical and non-clinical HIV/AIDS providers, and dozens of AIDS Serving and Community Based Organizations with a focus on diverse communities. Dr. Davis has provided didactic and clinical training and education programs thereby increasing the number of providers serving this community enhancing HIV/AIDS prevention, early intervention and care. In addition she has developed and implemented programs on Health Cultural Competency for providers and community members. Working with Community Health Centers (CHC) and hospitals, Dr. Davis has developed tailored policies and procedures for the California “Opt-Out” Law and HIV testing for pregnant women, during the 3rd trimester (based community viral load) and in Labor & Delivery. She has also provided training on Prevention for Positives for the STD/HIV Prevention Centers. As a university faculty member she has provided interactive programs for medical and physician assistant students.
As a provider at CHCs, University based EIP Clinic and AIDS Service Organizations, Dr Davis has provided care for diverse populations with HIV/AIDS for over ten years.
As a researcher her focus has been HIV/AIDS and other health disparities
